Have to say was very pleased with the whole experience from when I was picked up at the airport to when I was dropped off. The only thing I would say is beware of 3rd party insurance. I’ve had great experiences with Alpha cars Brisbane Airport. I find the hire office really comfortable. The staff are really helpful. They have airport shuttles that come and go from the airport at regular intervals. Sometimes you have to wait a little but that’s normal in an airport Situation. Having hired a car in march 2025 at alpha car rentals in brisbane australia i was very impressed by the shuttle service pick up at brisbane airport and so delighted to meet Mike who made the ride to the rental office so enjoyable. Although we had a wait at the office for the car we booked for hire, it was made less of a wait by talking to the staff about the area, which was the best route to take to get me to my destination. Bookings canceled more than 48 hours before pickup are fully refundable, with no cancellation fees. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will incur a fixed $75 fee.
Yes, you can use another person’s credit card, but the cardholder must be listed as the main driver on the rental contract and have a valid driving licence in English.

If you return the vehicle more than 1 hour after the drop-off time, you will be charged an additional full day’s fee. For example, if your rental is from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM the next day, and you return it at 9:01 AM, the extra charge will apply. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team.

  • $500 Damage Liability: Liability is reduced to $500.
